About Tripui:

There are around 120 space in the park. Prices of palapa's have been ranging from $20k to $40k. A palapa space is approximately 30' X 50'. There usually is a travel or park type trailer or motor home on one side and a custom outdoor living area on the other half. This may include full kitchen and bathroom. You will also want an additional space for parking a boat and/or car. Some places for sale have 1/2 parking spaces some have full parking spaces which are the same size lot as the Palapa double space. Parking spaces could be along side or behind or some other place in the park. Annual lease for the Palapa space is more then it is on a parking space.

The park is set up in rows A, B, C, D, E & F. Rows E & F are laid out a little different and contain a deep single parking space along side the double palapa space. When you purchase a palapa you purchase only the above ground improvements. What ever the negotiated price is you will all so have to pay an additional 5% to the office to transfer the lease. The annual lease from palapa to palapa varies depending on if there is parking space and where its located in the park. Everyone pays an annual water fee of $63.75 (latest 1998 price) and you pay your electricity by your own metered use. There is propane used for most heating & cooking and you can get tanks refilled at the local store.

What's really great about our area is its remoteness, Tripui is 16 miles south of town, buts its 1/2 mile off the highway, so we don't have the highway truck noise. For fishermen the launch ramp is just at the end of the same road, about another 1/2 mile. To the West side is the beautiful Sierra De La Giganta range rising to just under 5000' and its less then a mile from camp. This provides the most beautiful sun rises and sun sets. The fishing from this location is great all year, with Islands as close as 2 miles and the furthest 30 miles. For the next 125 miles to the south there is hardly any population. Just 3 or 4 small fishing villages so beach combing and diving is truly an experience. If you like to explore the back country there are great river worn canyons close by or miles of dirt roads that take you to the pacific side.

At Tripui there is a restaurant, swimming pool, office/gift shop, a well stocked store and we have the best fresh water in Baja, a sewer system and 24 hour security guard.
