Los Cabos' "Early to bed, early to rise" image has taken a beating in the
last couple of years. As the resort begins to attract more sun-seekers than fishermen, new
evening attractions are opening. Dining is more varied in Cabo San Lucas than in San José
del Cabo. There are also several excellent hotel restaurants throughout the area.
Overall dining tends to be on the expensive side, since nearly everything has to be
brought into the region (except of course, seafood). Many establishments feature prime
American beef and fresh imported produce.
There are, however, some good value-priced meals, as competition has brought down
prices. Cabo is, perhaps, Mexico's best beach resort for taco stands - mostly in Cabo San
Lucas.
